HOLIDAY RENTAL BARN CONVERSIONS - FEASIBILITY STUDY

Beech Architects undertook a feasibility study for holiday rental self catering units for a group of agricultural buildings based near the Suffolk coast.

The study explored the viability of adaption and conversion of the existng disused buildings to residential accommodation for short term lettings with regard to capital expenditure and the payback periods required to make it a viable and sustainable business venture.

The feasibility process included liaiison with local letting agents to establish rental rates & running costs, liaison with the local planning authority and disussion with the Highways department as well as exploration of private investment potential for other commercial or leisure based use of the site.
