This barn occupies a beautiful secluded setting within the Suffolk countryside.

The existing structure was a simple 3 sided open range of structures previously forming part of a much larger collection of agricultural buildings which had long since been removed.  Despite the limited amount of remaining fabric the site potential could be seen to create a fantastic family home.

Beech Architects are working with the client on this self-build project from the design through to construction and completion of the build.

The building envelope is currently moving toward being weather tight with the reconstruction and insertion of structural elements now substantially complete.

The timber roof structure is now complete and visible to demonstrate the final feel of the internal open spaces.
