Beech Architects are based in Thorndon in the heart of Suffolk. Our East Anglian practice provides a full range of architectural services for residential and commercial schemes across the UK.

With work across Suffolk, Norfolk, Essex and Cambridgeshire, we carry out architecture ranging in size from small house extensions to large housing developments of over 100 units. We also work on commercial, leisure and agricultural projects and have carried out a number of barn conversions. These include brick, flint, stone, clay lump and timber frame barns with many of them being listed buildings.

With experience of our own self-builds we are in a great position to assist those embarking upon a self-build or eco home.

Beech Architects projects range from feasibility studies and planning applications to full project management through to completion. Many of our projects have a sustainable theme and feature eco technologies, passive solar design, microgeneration, water saving measures and high levels of insulation.

We carry out our own research, often involving materials such as straw bales, clay lump and lime, as well as technologies such as air source heat pumps, solar hot water and heat recovery systems to ensure we can offer our clients an experienced and informed approach.
